In an ideal world, where a structural issue or property damage does not require a flat roof specialist to work immediately, certain times of the calendar can be better for fitting or replacing a roof than others.
This does not mean that a roof installed at one time of the year is different to another; experts and specialists are capable of providing the same high-quality results regardless of the day, but it does mean that they might have to prepare for different eventualities and certain days are easier than others.
Typically, the best time to get your flat roof installed is late spring. You avoid the rush that comes
during the winter when a lot of emergency roofing jobs are required, and you have the most time possible for the roof to be installed and bed in before the advent of wetter weather in late autumn and winter.
As well as this, given that many people entertain in summer at their homes, having the potential disruption that comes with a roof installation can be less than ideal for some.
Late spring tends to be better than early spring because whilst there is always a chance of rainy weather, by late April and May, the weather is more consistently bright and sunny, even if the temperatures have not necessarily reached their peak as they would in summer.
With all of this in mind, it should be noted that roof repairs are not seasonal; if you need your roof fixing it can happen in the dead of winter or the height of summer.
The only days in which it becomes impossible to fit a roof is during particularly inclement weather, where either the conditions are too hazardous for any safe work from height or the rain stops repair materials and adhesives from working effectively.
